Because I have the run of the house this weekend I am looking for nice stuff to do. One topic of my to-do-list is the beautification of the pc-area. Therefore I found this drawing, a perfect template for a little wall painting. Photos are coming later ;)

Oh dear, she really has to hurry up. Her guests are coming soon and there is so much left to do.. setting the table, taking a shower and getting dressed up. At least the cake is ready :)

It was hot, there was sun and though I know my performance is bad on those days, I started too fast and pushed myself too much. Well, I should have known it better. After six kilometers my pulse was too high and my head felt like it would burst. I had to decrease my pace, I got slower and slower and even had to walk for a few minutes.

Then I continued my run and struggled through the next five kilometers. In the meantime dark clouds were gathering. I hoped for a little cooling. I ran up a little hill and when I arrived on the top, the clouds had came closer. It was still bright behind me and together with the gloomy sky in front of me it gave a strange light. Absolutely impressive. If an UFO  had landed, I would not have been surprised.

On the horizont I could see a gray wall of rain. High wind came up. There was a tension in the air and it was only a question of time when it would start raining. I switched off my iPod; I wanted to be one with the nature, the rain and the wind. Then I felt the first drops and I raised my arms. It was a relief. Soon the rain whipped across the field and hit me like pinholes. Within a few minutes I got soaked to the skin. Puddles didn’t bother me, because I had puddles in my shoes. I could even have wet myself and nobody would have ever remarked it.

Suddenly it was over, the birds flew again and nothing but the wet ground and of course my wet clothes reminded of the short but heavy shower. Later it started raining again, but who cares.. you can not get wetter than wet.

Almost the entire week the weather was bad. The little smurf nearly went mad. As soon as the sun came out he jumped in his red bathing trunks and went to the pool. *splish-splash*

He was looking for a nice picture for such a long time and now he has finally found one. Immediately he has put it on the wall and made his room even more comfy. It was strenous, sweat is running down his temples. But soon he will lie on his sofa and look at the picture and just be a happy smurf.

Actually I didn’t want to have the pressure doing something every day any longer, but somehow something is missing.
So this morning, when I was sitting on the balcony enjoying the beautiful blue sky, I remembered the little smurfs I have bought lately on a flea market in Berlin. Together with those I already have, they give more or less the amount of 52.. tailor-made for a new project :)
The title will be »through the year with the smurfs« and as you can assume there will be one smurf-story each week. To avoid to pressure myself too much there will not be a defined day, only the week counts.

There you can see the protagonists, waiting for their very own story.
So let me start with it before they get impatient :)
