Today was Corpus Christi and we had a holiday. So we used the time to make a draisine trip. It starts in Altenglan and ends in Staudernheim. Along this 40 km line are several breakpoints where it is possible to walk around, to have some refreshment or just to relax a bit.
A very nice place is Meisenheim with its beautiful historic city center and its pretty half-timbered houses.

The draisines are always fully booked for a long time ahead. So you never know how the weather will be then. Especially these days, where it changes from autumn to summer and back, it really is a game of pure chance. But it was great today. Nice temperatures, a neat blue sky and a cool breeze.. just perfect!
