Caipirinha-Bowle

Summer time means punch time and every summer party should have one. So I made «Caipirinha Bowle» for our little party last weekend. You missed the party? That’s a pity.. but at least here is the recipe!

400 mL Cachaça
1½ sugar melon (Piel de Sapo)
200 g brown sugar
2 bottles of sparkling wine
1,5 L of sparkling water
12 limes

Rub off the paring of 3 limes, squeeze 6 limes and add 300 mL sparkling water. Put this mixture in ice cube trays and freeze it overnight.

At least 3 hours before serving cut the melons in small pieces and divide the limes in eight pieces. Put the limes in a pot, add the sugar and crush it a bit. Now add the melon and the Cachaça, mix everything, seal the pot and keep it cold.

Right before serving add the sparkling wine and water and also the ice cubes.

Enjoy it, Prost! and have also a glass for me.
