Ant Cake
I baked a cake today.. the first one in our new oven. To avoid that anything goes wrong I decided to bake an easy one, btw one of my favorites. It’s called “Ameisenkuchen”.. and it’s always hard work to collect the needed amount of ants.
And here’s the recipe.
Ingredients:
300 g butter · 175 g sugar · 2 p. vanilla sugar · 4 eggs · 300 g flour · 3 teaspoon of baking powder · 300 mL advocaat · 15o g chocolate sprinkles (for the case you don’t get ants *g)
Preparation:
1. preheat the convection oven to 150°C
2. cream the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar and the eggs until it’s fluffy
3. mix the flour with the baking powder and add it, together with the advocaat and the chocolate sprinkles
4. put the dough on a baking tray and bake it for 20-25 min
